ABOUT SMA
Founded in 2005, Shwe Myan Aung (SMA) was born out of the growing demand for diesel oil in the Tanintharyi Region, driven by an increase in fishing activities. With 19 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, we began our journey with a mission to deliver high-quality petroleum products reliably and responsibly.
Commercial Fuel Operations
Myeik: Ship-to-ship bunkering with strict quality and quantity checks conducted by third-party surveyors. Barge transfers with liters gate dispensers supply customers both on water and on land, including logistics to SMA retail outlets.
Yangon: Fuel is unloaded from ships to terminal tanks, measured by surveyors, and delivered by SMA trucks to factories and businesses. Our trained teams follow strict safety procedures throughout the delivery process.

Leading in Distribution
We are the largest distributor in the Tanintharyi Region, with reach extending to cities like Dawei and Kawthaung. Our growing infrastructure enables timely delivery both by land and sea.
Nationwide Reach
With a fleet of 15 trucks and 10 motor tankers, we cover all of Myanmar, supplying high-speed diesel, premium diesel, and octane fuels across major regions.
Myanmar
Our Growth Story
We quickly became the largest petroleum supplier in Tanintharyi. In 2018, we expanded our network to Mon State to better serve the southern region of Myanmar. By 2019, we extended our operations to Yangon, enabling nationwide distribution of cargoes, diesel, and gasoline products.
SMA continues to grow steadily, with increasing market share, trade volume, and import/export capacity. We focus on full-volume delivery, quality assurance, and timely service to meet our customers’ evolving needs.
